Holy Ground: Landscape of the Sacred. 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Trout Lake School, 2310 Highway 141,Trout Lake, WA.  This annual Creation Care Fellowship Gathering is sponsored by the Eco-Justice Team of the Presbytery of the Cascades and Trout Lake Presbyterian Church. Our keynoter is Jane Kirkpatrick, a writer, speaker, teacher and mental health professional. Her award-winning essays, articles, and humor have appeared in over fifty publications. Workshops will focus on sustainable living in addition to a journaling workshop with Jane Kirkpatrick.
Come to Trout Lake on Friday night to camp out or stay at a nearby hotel so that you will have more time to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. There will be several free tent campsites at Trout Lake Presbyterian. A Taize service for the healing of creation will be held at 6:45 p.m. on Friday at the church.

General Assembly - Youth Advisory Delegate for 2010 sought
Is there a youth in your congregation who would represent the Presbytery of the Cascades well as a Youth Advisory Delegate (YAD) at the 219th General Assembly, July 3-10, 2010 in Minneapolis? Applicants must be age 17-23 and recommended by their session.
Completed FORMS are due September 10, 2009.
