In September of 2020, numerous fires burned throughout our presbytery. The most severe of these fires affected six primary areas where we have congregations. In 2021, significant fires have continued to affect churches and communities in our Southern and Central Regions.
Through the generosity of people throughout our presbytery and beyond, and through our partnership with Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, we are able to offer support grants through our congregations to assist in fire relief and rebuilding efforts. Click Here for the Fire Relief Grant Application.
Additionally, we have a designated Fire Relief Team working to network and support the work of our congregations as they respond to physical, emotional, and spiritual needs brought about by these fires. To find out how you or your church community can support relief efforts, please contact Rev. Clark Scalera at (link to email). If you would like to contribute financially to relief efforts, there is information below for how you can make a tax deductible contribution.
