Sarah Sanderson-Doughty is the Conflict Team Lead for the presbytery and continues as the full time solo pastor of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Portland, where she has served since 2017. She has been an ordained teaching elder for over 20 years and has served churches and seminaries in New York, Tennessee, Virginia, Indiana, and now Oregon. She received a Ph.D. in Theological Studies from Vanderbilt University in 2015. She has a deep love for the church and a yearning for our life together to bear witness to the difference that the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ makes. She loves helping groups to work together well and helping churches speak truth in love and find healthier ways to manage conflict. She shares life with an gifted husband, Kevin, who is a music teacher and church musician, and an amazing daughter, Caroline, who is now a teenager.
